What we Do

To stop femicide, female genital mutilation, domestic abuse and child exploitation are all issues that need desperate attention in Kenya.

Women’s Aid Kenya has the purpose to improve the standard of living for women and girls who need it the most.

This is our team in Kisumu… Linda Otieno, 2nd from the right, is the founder of Women’s Aid Kenya.

Our mission statement is:

“We are committed to advocating for women’s rights, providing support, and fostering a safe community. We do this by working collaboratively with local organizations and community members to create a more inclusive society. Our programs are designed to empower individuals and create positive change in the community. We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from discrimination and violence. Our work is guided by the principles of equality, respect, and dignity for all. We are dedicated to creating a world where women can live openly and authentically without fear of discrimination or violence.”

Our clients can be a victim of domestic abuse, or a widow and orphaned girls or anyone who is suffering for any reason beyond the typical hardships life can bring.

We want to deliver aim and support to those who need it most.

Additionally, we carry out advocacy, mostly in the field of making it easier for girls to have access to high quality education free from fear of abuse.

Most importantly we are the only emergency service in place for the most desperately in need of help.

If you can help, please consider it…
